Marketing register

Optenni Ltd markets its products and services by its electronic newsletter. The marketing is based on the consent which you give us when you subscribe to the Optenni Ltd’s newsletter on our web pages. Alternatively, your consent may be obtained in various marketing events when you give your business card or other contact information to Optenni Ltd. Optenni Ltd may also collect contact information from public sources and from our technology partners and use here its legitimate right to market its products and services. For marketing purposes Optenni Ltd collects your name, e-mail address and company name and when available, your title and the company contact information. You can unsubscribe to our newsletter by a link included in every newsletter. We will remove your data from our marketing register by your explicit request (see contact information below), when you click unsubscribe on our newsletters or if your email address becomes invalid.

Customer register

Optenni Ltd collects contact information related to our customers for customer relations management such as product evaluations, sales negotiations, order processing, product deliveries, billing, user support and other business operations. Here, Optenni Ltd‘s right to collect personal data is based on the customer relationship between your employer and Optenni Ltd. We collect only minimal personal data like employee name, title, e-mail address, phone number, company name, and company contact information. Personal data will be stored for up to ten years after the customer relationship has been terminated, compliant to legal requirements. The company may change its contact persons at any time by agreeing that with Optenni Ltd.

Optenni Lab user register

Optenni Ltd collects personal data through Optenni Lab software that periodically contacts Optenni Ltd’s web server and transmits information about software and its users, in particular software version, software license number, computer name, username, and IP address. The information is used for (a) checking the availability of new software versions, new component series and updates to existing series for component library, (b) tracking the use of software without valid licenses, and (c) usage statistics, quality control and software improvement. Optenni Ltd’s right to collect personal data is based on (i) fulfilling its contractual obligations to provide updates and to maintain and support software, and (ii) its legitimate interests to develop and improve the quality of software and to prevent, investigate and detect fraudulent use of software. Personal data will stored stored as long as Optenni Ltd has fair grounds for processing personal data.

Transfer of data, principles of protecting data and risks for the registered

The personal data is processed only for Optenni Ltd’s business needs and is not regularly disclosed or transferred to other parties than Optenni Ltd’s service providers acting as personal data processors. The data is stored inside the European Union but our service providers may maintain the data services from outside the EU according to the requirements of applicable national laws and the GDPR.

Optenni Ltd collects minimal necessary data to run its business and the data is stored only electronically and protected using appropriate technical and organizational measures such as standard information technology methods and access control mechanisms. All data are transferred using secure communication channels. All personnel and processors are obliged to keep personal data in strict confidence. Only authorized personnel and processors may access personal data.

Rights of data subjects

You shall be entitled to review personal data collected on you and have incorrect personal data rectified or erased. You shall be entitled to withdraw at any time the consents that you have given regarding the processing of personal data.
