Optenni Lab 3.3 Released

We are happy to announce the availability of Optenni Lab 3.3. In this release we are introducing the support for optimization of switchable matching circuits, using multiport models of SPNT switches, where all the switch states are obtained from a single MDIF file.

In addition, we have implemented numerous improvements based on customer feedback, such as the following:

  • In multiport matching, the port type can be specified as "External port", "Component port", "Open" or "Shorted
  • Tuning of library component values and tolerances separated into different tuners
  • User Smith charts have been added
  • Faster way to add curves to new or existing user plots
  • Circuit information can be copied to the clipboard and stored to a text file

Also, we have added several new tutorials and applications notes:

  • Balun Matching Tutorial – how to optimize a balun
  • Switch Tuner Tutorial – how to design tunable matching circuits using switches
  • Application note on MIMO matching – how to improve antenna isolation by decoupling network synthesis
  • Application note on calibration and measurement – practical considerations on measuring antenna prototypes
  • Application note on documentation – Optenni lab documentation and export features
